This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Got a chance to try this poke place as part of a Yelp event. Then went next door to try their dole whip & custom poke bowl. I love the variety of toppings & sauces. The owner and staff were really nice, accommodating and personable. Bowl didn't make it to the photos - I would say the chicken & tuna was a different texture than I expected but the flavors were so good.

Online pick up order review. My bowl was mostly rice. I asked for rice and spring mix, but no spring mix came with it. Pickled veggies and furikake was missing too and there was very little sauce used. Overall I feel like the toppings quanity is just not worth the price. I had to add my own things from home for it to feel like a real meal.

Some of the best service we’ve had in a long time at Island Fin Poke. The food and drinks were great, but Layla and Alan truly made the experience. My daughter and I had our dog with us, and Layla warmly welcomed him on the patio. She even brought out a bowl of water and some plain rice and chicken from the kitchen, which was incredibly thoughtful. Alan was fantastic as well. He patiently took my daughter’s order, answered all my questions, and made great recommendations. My daughter is gluten free and had tried to order poke twice earlier in the weekend without success, so third time was the charm. They had a great variety of gluten free options, which made it easy for her to order. He also surprised us with samples of the mango pineapple swirl Dole Whip. When my wife and other daughter joined us, he went back inside and brought samples out for them too. They loved it so much they went in and ordered their own. Huge thanks to Layla and Alan for the outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend Island Fin Poke at Delta Shores β€” management should be proud to have them representing the restaurant. Service like this is exactly what keeps families coming back. It’s always great finding

This is a review for their food truck. We got the chance to try Island Fin Poke’s food truck when Sactomofo had their food truck event in the area. You can check online for details about this food truck event, but I’m surprised about the high rating for in-store. If their food truck is anything like their indoor products, it is not good. I ordered the salmon signature bowl and it cost $17 flat. The bowl was mostly rice and the salmon was very tasteless. The whole bowl itself barely had any flavor. I had to add soy sauce and some of my own furikake seasoning to try and save it. I’m sorry to leave this review but I feel like I had to post this for others because this was really disappointing. I already finished my food bowl as I am writing this review which is why I don’t have any photos, but I hope the owners of the food truck can take some accountability. I don’t know if I had a high mark for poke, but it definitely wasn’t worth it. I’m a huge fan of sashimi and this was just not it at all.

Island Fin is at the top of my list for poke spots. They have the most variety of options, toppings, and sauce. I love the unique topping sauces that you can't find find at any other poke places. The protein choices aren't fancy like other places that premix with flavors, so if you're more into fresh fish that you can flavor yourself, this is the spot. There's only one size for the bowl here which makes ordering easy, and it's at a decent price for 3 scoops of protein. My go-to is always spicy tuna, octopus, and one random one I feel like for the day. The spicy tuna isn't all mushy and minced up as other places; there's actually chunks of Tuna in the mix. There's so many toppings to choose from.. 3 types of salsas, 3 types of cucumbers, tofu, and so much more. Even though they charge for premium toppings, you get one free scoop of each of the masago and imitation crab salad included with the bowl. That's awesome considering most places will charge you for even one scoop. The finishing dry ingredients are abundant too with things I don't see other places offering such as wasabi peas, toasted coconut, wonton strips, etc. I'm obsessed with their creamy sauces.. jamaican, wasabi, a
